Art becomes sublime when it subtly elevates you. Jewellery artist Laksh Pahuja of Uzuri Jewels does his bit towards
global
warming through the
world’s first real ice necklace. His ‘Just Freeze’ collection
showcased at IIJS recently, consisting of jewellery made
primarily in ice, along with white gold, silver, diamonds, coloured stones and enamel,
is aimed at focussing attention towards the melting glaciers
of Antarctica and exhorting us to alter our lifestyle before
it’s too late. One of its kind, this ice necklace costs
a cool Rs 50 lakh. |
